For Memorial Day, Brookshire Grocery Co. and Super 1 Food have been sending WWII veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the WWII Memorial.
Shown Above: Veterans saluting the Tomb of the Unknowns — a monument dedicated to American service members who have died without their remains being identified.
The all-expenses paid "Heroes Flight" is for veterans from Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas, and this year, while traveling through the Dallas Love Field airport, the group received a standing ovation from everyone in the terminal.
